gateways
HI all,
i read all the articles but i still don't understand what's the goal of the gateways
how do i know if i need gateways? what their goals?

MP_123 If you read all the gateway info, you know that there are a large amount of scenerio's that will dictate whether or not you need a gateway depending on where your data is. At a really high level, if your data is on premises, you need a mechanism to refresh the data in the cloud (Service). The gateway is that mechanism, that provides a secure connection to your data, and allows you to refresh the data set.
The security white paper you can download here describes all the interactions really well that may clarify things for you.
