Hi
i have a situation: i developed and put on a server a power bi report and now i want to make automatically schedule refresh; there is a licence - email (which is generic, not for a specific windows user; we use it only for PBI) and password and with these i need to set up the gateway
1. which gateway do i need - Personal or Enterprise?
2. i tried with Enterprise and it gave me an error when i try to establish link connections, see bellow
i'm stucked on this, can anyone help me please?

Hi Cosmin,
As we can see from the error message, it's an authentication issue.
1. It seems the file is in a remote server. Does the computer that has the gateway have access to the file?
2. The path in the data gateway should be a full path.

Hi Cosmin,
Did you solve this issue? I got the same error message in my test environment in which I connected to the network file by VPN.
1. So please check your network environment;
2. We should use the link like this: \\dfsadfsa\as\afda\Other_Sources\a.xlsx;
3. The credential should be the one we can use in our local computer.

Hi
when you install the gateway you need to use the email which you use as license for powerbi? or you can give another email
thanks
