Gateway and data source
Good morning;
I need help with power bi Gateway;
Im working in a dashboard where my data source is located on a automation network, so it doesnt have connection to the internet network, its secure by firewall rules.
My doubt is: the only way to get this data is allowing the gateway to reach powerbi cloud by making firewall rules? Or theres any other possibility then use gateway?

As far as I know, if a firewall blocks outbound connections, configure the firewall to allow outbound connections from the gateway to its associated Azure region.
You may refer to this offical article which describes several communication settings associated with the on-premises data gateway. It also describes how to adjust those settings.
