Filter Using Dax

Hi experts,

quick question, I'm trying to write a measure to calculate a distinct count of a column when that column is either of two possible filters. So something like this;

CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT([Column A]),FILTER(Data,[Column B]="Red" Or "Blue"))

So bascially a distinct count of column A filtered when column B is either 'Red' or 'Blue'. I'm not sure what the syntax should be??

    you were almost correct

    CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT([Column A]),FILTER(Data,Data[Column B]="Red" || Data[Column B]="Blue"))

    Hi Anonymous ,

    Try this measure

    Cc =
    CALCULATE (
        DISTINCTCOUNT ( 'Table'[Column A] ),
        FILTER (
            'Table',
            'Table'[Column B]
                IN {
                "Red",
                "Blue"
            }
        )
    )
