Filter table by comparing columns

Dear all,

I'm looking for a way to show a Table visual but filtered by comparing two columns.

Short background: We have 2 systems to see which device belongs to which user. I want to be able to filter out those lines where the user ID is different in both systems. I was able to show a count of this by creating a measure with calculate:

Incorrect assignee =
CALCULATE (
    COUNTROWS ( 'Asset List' ),
    FILTER (
        'Asset List',
        'Asset List'[User ID 1] <> ""
        && 'Asset List'[User ID 2] <> ""
        && 'Asset List'[User ID 1] <> 'Asset List'[User ID 2]
))

This works like a charm to show the count, but I would also like to use this as a filter to show my viewers a table of these devices so they can actually know what to rectify in our systems.

Is this something anyone can help me with? I use bookmarks for the more basic filtering but for this one I'm stuck.

Kind regards

  • Hi Anonymous,

    For example, you can create a new calculated column and filter your table by setting a condition that this value must be TRUE.
