Error connecting to Tabular Editor - Compatibilty Level & Mode

Hi Community,

We were facing Limitations  in SSAS due to memory issue , so trying to shift that model to Tabular Editor 3 , was sucessfully connected the Tabular Model but we need to have compatibilty level to 1600 and compatibilty mode to Power BI while changing that facing an error with a pop up message "Propety Value is not Valid".

Help me with a solution

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    To resolve the error, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check the compatibility mode of the server: - Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and connect to your Analysis Services instance. - Right-click on the server name and select "Properties". - In the "General" tab, check the current compatibility mode. Make a note of it.

    2. Set the compatibility mode in Tabular Editor 3 to match the server: - Open Tabular Editor 3 and connect to your Tabular Model. - In the "Model" menu, select "Options". - In the "General" tab, change the "Compatibility Mode" to match the mode of the server. - Click "OK" to save the changes.

    3. Save and process the model: - In Tabular Editor 3, go to the "File" menu and select "Save". - Process the model to apply the changes.
