Dynamically changing visual based gantt chart selection

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using the Gantt Chart by MAQ Software, and I’m looking for assistance in developing a dynamic visual that updates based on the selection in the Gantt chart.

Example:

  • When selecting "Business Analyst" in the Gantt chart, the report should display Selection 01 chart and hide or disable Selection 02 chart.
  • When selecting "Leader Engineer" in the Gantt chart, the report should display Selection 02 chart and hide or disable Selection 01 chart.

Can anyone please help me to implement it? Thanks

  • Hi JennyMilf
    You could use DAX to hide the data when the relevant piece is clicked:

    Hide sections Business =
    if(
        SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Team Involved ]) <> "Business Analyst"
        ,Count('Table'[Task])
        ,BLANK()
        )

    Hide sections Engineer =
    if(
        SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Team Involved ]) <> "Lead Engineer"
        ,SUM('Table'[Cost])
        ,BLANK()
        )

    You would also need to change the Title to hide the text.
