Data Restructuring

Need to structre the traditional horizontal balance sheet & P&L into above given structure in Powerbi 
Like Ennumbers of competitors data, in traditional B/s & P&L.
need to strcuture in 
Major category :Total Liabilities
Category: shareholder's fund 
Sub Category: equity, reseve & Surplus 
Companies : different 
period : last 10 years 22-23,23-24
Amount : Respective amount 
guide for the same as the data will loaded in powerbi

    Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

    If your raw data is in a wide format for example, with each company represented as a separate column you can use Power Query in Power BI to unpivot it. First, load your table into Power BI and open it in Power Query. Then, select all columns except for Major Category, Category, and Sub Category, and click Transform and then Unpivot Columns. If the resulting Attribute column contains combined values you can split it into separate Company and Period columns. This transformation reshapes your data into a long format, making it suitable for use in matrix visuals and easier to analyse across companies and periods.
