Connect to Microsoft Dataverse using application user

Hello experts,

it is possible to connect Power Bi to Microsoft Dataverse (CDS) using Power Platform application service users?

Application users are used for S2S integrations, they should be logical choice instead of a licenced Dataverse account.

I see in this link it is possible with Microsoft Flow, but I dont have this choice when I try to authenticate in BI.

It is possible to use them in the desktop application or in cloud?
