Bug - Clicking on HEX color code doesn't work - September 2018

Not sure where to log this or if anyone else can test but when seleting a colour (tried this on chart, table and shape visuals) and clicking on custom color then trying to highlight the HEX code, it ...

         When my desktop version 2.62.5222.601 64-bit (September 2018) , I have reproduced your question too.

    And then I update to the latest version 

    Version: 2.62.5222.761 64-bit (September 2018)

    and it works well.

    So please update your PowerBI desktop to the latest version.

And then I update to the latest version 

Version: 2.62.5222.761 64-bit (September 2018)

and it works well.

So please update your PowerBI desktop to the latest version.
