DataFlow with DataWarehouse in other Workspace Error
Hello,
I have a dataflow in one workspace that I want to configure with a DataWarehouse destination in another workspace.
However, I have the following warning:
"Due to performance reasons, only Warehouses in the current workspace are shown."
Has anyone had this problem before?
Normally I should be able to write to any Data Warehouse (it doesn't matter which workspace, as long as I have the rights).
Have a nice day,
Hi vivien57
Apologies for the issue you are facing here.
Configuring a Dataflow in one workspace with a Data Warehouse destination in another workspace in Microsoft Fabric isn't possible at the moment. This is a expected behaviour and the banner you highlighted stated as well, only warehouses in the current workspace are shown.
I hope this helps. Please do let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi, I actually have a work around for it.
You could create the Dataflow Gen2 in the target workspace (where you want to save the data) and then you are able to select a source from a different workspace. With this way you are not limited to the worksapce boundries. 🙂
