Datawarehouse- cross workspace
Hi,
I am trying to create a virtual warehouse from different workspace in my workspace but i cant able to an option to select. It only shows my workspace lakehouse alone. Also i cant see an option to create a shortcuts in DWH.
How can i leverage the one Lake and use the same parquet files from one workspace to another workspace without duplicating ?
Even in same workspace instead of creating a same tables multiple times in different lakehouse i have created shortcuts but i cant able to use the shortcuts tables in sql end point for modeling, in this case i need to duplicate the date in another lakehouse so i can model it.
As per official Documents Shortcuts can be supported in LakeHouse and KQL Databses
You can create another Lakehouse in your Virtual warehosue workspace and create shortcut there without duplicating the same and expose the same shortcut table via Views in your Virtual Warehouse
