Sample file for Gantt chart
A sample file with the new custom visual addtion: Gantt chart

Is there meant to be a PBIX file in the zip file you made available ? I can't see one.

It is a pbix file but for some reason explorer makes it a zip one. If you rename it to pbix it should work.
Are you using explorer?
