Custom visuals in an email report
I've got a report with multiple custom visuals on. I've also set the report to email once a day when it is refreshed. The problem I have is that the custom visuals are slow in updating, so the email doesn't show very much.
All the custom visuals do is show numbers formatted in a slightly different way, but ideally I want additional custom visuals to show different effects.
Is there a way to speed up the display of the custom visuals? They do appear to be slow and from reading, it appears to be down to how the visuals are shown in their own iframe.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the expected behaviour?
There’s no way to improve loading time at least for now.
We’re working on improving the loading time for all of custom visual that are based on the new API.
We can’t provide any ETA for this task. I hope that it will be completed soon.

Hello njrandell,
Custom visuals might have some loading issues due to using ifame sandboxing.
Could you please clarify amount of custom visuals in the report and size of the data-set?

I've got about 10 custom visuals on this page. The pbix file I used to create the report is about 2mb in size and is refreshed once a day from an SQL server.
