Hierarchy Multi row visual
Hello,
How can I create this visual?
Requirement: Category shown horizontally with metrics (sales, margin etc) below it. Then each category has sub category shown below it vertically with the same metrics.
Something like multi row card but with hierarchy
Thanks in advance.
You could definitely do each row as a matrix with using the switch colums to rows feature under the values section in the build menu in the matrix visual. Then you would need to format the headers as needed. However getting them to be related would come down to filtering.
You could probably do the same thing with each column as a matrix in your visual above by creating the category and subcategory all as stacked rows and then your metrics all as measures. Then you would just need to jam them all together basically to get it to look how you want. Not ideal native solution but an option.

Dr_BB Have a look at the Power KPI Matrix visual by Microsoft or the KPI by Powerviz out in AppSource.
