Git exception should be more specific

I was unable to pull updates from git, with the below screenshot: But it's hard to verify which code paragraph is having issues, which made me hard to identify the issue. would that be possible...

    Hi Kevin,

    Thank you for your suggestions, we've figured out this issue by comparing the committed version of mentioned python file.

    However, the initial error message is not very clear to narrow down the issue, thus raised this request. 

    I've posted this request to the IDEAS, hope that would help
