Do anyone know if its possible or can suggest a workaround for creating friendly name for SQL endpoint connection string?

Hi joakimfenno ,
Your requirement is that you want to name the SQL connection string something like the name of your workspace, not a string of random characters, right?
Fabric does not currently support creating friendly names for SQL endpoint connection strings.
I am concerned about a user here who has a similar need to yours, so maybe that will help you:

I haven't tried this, but maybe either editing your computer's host file, or maybe work's IT can create a redirect inside of the work network? Work computers tend to have the admin account locked down, making it hard to change the host file.
This would theoretically work if each Fabric Workspace SQL endpoint has a different, and consistent IP address.
But the random characters does mean I can't domain-squat: cocacola.datawarehouse.fabric.microsoft.com.

Is my follow-up just to ask if the problem has been solved?
If so, can you accept the correct answer as a solution or share your solution to help other members find it faster?
