Hi corbett3442,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Kindly follow the troubleshooting steps below, which may help resolve the issue:
- The error appears to indicate a problem with dataflow evaluation. The unknown evaluation error code 104100 is generally associated with an issue in the underlying M code, particularly when a function is involved.
- Open the function in the Power Query Editor and ensure that there are no syntax errors or parameter-related issues. Create a new query that invokes the function with sample parameters to verify whether it executes correctly outside the dataflow context.
- Ensure that only the final queries have staging enabled. Check whether any helper queries depend on each other’s outputs, and confirm that they execute in the correct sequence. Preview the results of each query within the dataflow to identify any specific part returning unexpected results or errors.
- Utilise Microsoft Fabric’s built-in diagnostic tools to gain insights into dataflow performance and potential issues. You may access the logs through the Power Query Editor for more detailed information regarding the error.
If you find our response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members facing similar queries.
Thank you.
