Creating/editing reports in a browser instead of desktop?

Is the desktop client the only way to create a new report, or can it be done completely in the browser, from start to finish?

You can create and edit a report on the browser from beginning no need to have the desktop version, however in the browser you cannot edit queries, make measures and some advance features thar are available on the desktop but in basic you can do a report without any issues..

You can create a report only in the browser but you do not have the capability to manage the model like you do in the desktop such as creating new columns, measures or build relationships between tables to the extent that you can in the Desktop. Dataflows adds a huge component to the capabilities of online only but managing the model is not yet at the same level as the Desktop.
