Hi all,
I am new to this community and will appreciate your help regarding my issue.
I have a power bi report with different geographical regions. I have set up an RLS for different users getting access to different regions.
But there is 1 page with sensitive info that I want to restrict for some of these users. The visuals on this page are coming from a separtae table.
I have created 2 roles :
1. RLS : Dynamic rls set up on this role based on regions. they CAN see sensitive page.
2. RLS and OLS: Dynamic rls set up on this role based on regions. they CANNOT see sensitive page.
In Tabular editor, I restricted Object level security of role "RLS and OLS" to NONE for the sensitive table.
Now, role RLS is working fine.
in role RLS and OLS, users see broken visuals on Sensitive page, but the rls (dynamic rls based on region) for them is not working on other pages. Means they can see everything on other pages.
I want a solution so that they can not see sensitive page, but dynamic rls work for them on other pages.
Please suggest!!
