Hi,
I used the Donut chart to create the below KPI, I have no finances to purchase any custom visuals
I would like to know, can I customise this a little more.
New Requirement visual
1. Can i add to my donut to have a target line, like the speedometer?
2. Can i using the donut to simulate the donut to by half-moon like speedometer, if not what free mircosoft options are available but i would like to ammend the donut so that I have a uniformed look for my scorecard?
3. If an alternative speedometer visual, can i in one visual show the 4 quarters with targets or must i copy it for all quarters
Please help, any ideas
Regards

Hi @icassiem,
Thank you for your feedback.
As I have suggested above, if we use the date hierarchy as the slicer, we can check all values from Year,Quarter,Month,Day:

Please try https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Help-with-donut-gauge-visual/m-p/4053733 solution
Also for different quarters it can be shown in one visual and allow user to select quarters from slicer
Wow, Thank you this can work 🙂 I will have a try tomorrow morning
For the quarters, i only have a datepicker slicer and cant provide additional buttons/slicer for the 4 quarters
i am afraid to have to have 4 of these images for the quarters as the instruction is to see all 3 dimensions in one view without user selections Month (graph), Year (speedometer), Qtr (speedometer) ?
Hi @icassiem, hello arvindsingh802, thank you for your prompt reply!
If you only have a datepicker slicer and want to display 4 qyarters and all three dimensions in one view, we suggest you use the Date Hierarchy as the slicer:
Then you could use the Radial gauge charts to meet your requirements:

Hi,
Thank You, I am not sure
As i have a YTD, quarter and month view to be visible all in one view but this leaves me with 5 guages and a month line chart, very messy for a small kpi space
i was hoping there was a guage that could show me all the qaurters in one guage split compared to having a guage per quarter

Thank you,
On the hierarchy slicer could I still default the YTD selection like I have on the date picker?
what the user wants is to see all the quarters separately, simultaneously, including the YTD and month views
Apologies, do you think i can use my line graph for both month and quarter view with multiple x-axis, perhaps the view is on month but for qtr have marker with data labels to show quarter and the x-axis is nested to q1 and month above
Thank You All, i was over thinking it 🙂
I used the hierarchy within the slicer
