Hi,
So our capacity is fairly throttled up, I wanted to see which reports are hogging the capacity.
Is it wise to setup a Capacity Metrics Report knowing that the capacity is barely available?
I'm thinking of loading it during off-hours. Will I still be able to get all the data for the day if I only reload say every 12 am?
TIA!

@v-xiaotang unfortunately the question was about Premium metrics, not the user metrics reports in a workspace 😀
@SeaSprite, you can certainly use the Premium Metrics app, be sure to download the new one here: Use the Gen2 metrics app.
This is also a very good explanation of Making sense of the Power BI Premium Gen2 Metrics App by Adam Saxton, an MSFT (Power BI) employee.
The app needs to refresh data, but it also uses Direct Query to get a lot of data, that's explained in Adam's video as well.
Hi @SeaSprite
Yes, knowing how your content is being used helps you demonstrate your impact and prioritize your efforts. Your usage metrics may show that one of your reports is used daily by a huge segment of the organization. It may show that nobody is viewing a dashboard you created at all. This type of feedback is invaluable in guiding your work efforts.
Kindly note:

Q: What time period is covered by the report?
A: The usage report is based on activity data for the last 30 days, excluding activities of the current day. You can narrow the time period by using the Date slicer on the Report usage page, such as to analyze only last week's data.
Q: When will I see the most recent activity data?
A: The usage report includes activity data up until the last complete day based on the UTC time zone. The data shown in the report is also dependent on the refresh time for the dataset. Power BI refreshes the dataset once per day.
Q: The data doesn't seem up to date.
A: Note that it might take up to 24 hours for new activity data to appear in the usage report.
