window(), index() and other new function with live connection SSAS Tabular

Why it is not possible to use new function with live connection to ssas tabular and Power BI desktop RS?

Whey are if it's not a live connection

These functions were released after the latest SSAS tabular version was released so they are currently only available in Power BI and AzureAS. They will probably be available in next version of SSAS when that is released.
