Hi,
i have set up and configured an Azure IoT hub and conencted it to Data Activator .
i sent some sample events to the device associated with my IoT Hub and i can see that on power bi it can see the evetns coming in:
however for some reason i mgetting an error when trying to configure a reflex:
does anyone know what im doing wrong here?
im trying to do a PoC and want to create a simple alert for when there is a event noticed in the Stream
thank you
data coming into the stream:
however when i go to add a destination > reflex, i get this error:
Hi @knowlec ,
According to the error code, it seems as if your organization does not allow you to create alerts:
Please contact your organization administrator and ask them to turn on the relevant permissions in Tenant settings in the Admin portal:
To access Tenant settings, you need to be in the global administrator role.
Also, check to see if any of the steps you took in setting up your alerts involved the limitations in this document. If a restriction is touched there will also be a failure to create it:

In the meantime, please check that the data source is reachable and that your Reflex settings are correct. If all settings are fine, please try deleting your existing Reflex, clearing your browser cache and resetting it.

tahnk you @Anonymous
the enabling those tenant settings seemed to do the trick.
however it has rasied another query.
There seems to be a delay in the notication being sent (both email & teams message).
e.g
my dectector is to send an email if the temperature value "is geater than 30 each time".
as you can see, the value over 30 comes in at 12.17.
however, i dont get the email until 12:32 (it says 13:32 due to time difference):
so quite a bit delay here of 15mins. i can see the data coming in after a few seconds to my event stream so the delay seems to be in the reflex.
is this a common issue or something i need to update?
thank you
Hi @knowlec ,
Doesn't the screenshot you provided show the email received at 13:23? Are you looking at it incorrectly? According to 13:23, there is a 5 minute delay between the time the reflex is triggered and the time you receive the email, this is normal.

apologies @Anonymous you are corect. its a 5 minute delay.
so can you just confirm that currently the reflex trigger is not real time?
is there a way for the trigger notifcation to be sent as soon as the data is received in the event stream, or is the exptected wait time of 5 minutes the best currently?
