Hi,
I got a system notification email from [Reflex] few minutes after a notification sent for one of my triggers that met its conditions. It contained a message that "...Data Activator encountered a problem and was unable to send an alert for your trigger..." while I had successfully received the trigger email few minutes before that (not sure about other two recipients though). The Notification Type was described as "Actions.InvalidRecipientDomain" which I couldn't look it up in the troubleshoot article provided within the mesaage (https://aka.ms/dataActivatorErrors) either. Any helps from the community supports about the reasons why I might have received that message is appreciated.
Thanks,
Hi @v-tangjie-msft
Unfortunately that limitation exists for all the email addresses that are on a different domain than the report owner's account, even if they share same Microsoft Fabric tenancy, as per this document:
Data Activator limitations - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
@jameshutton , I know you've already pointed in this post: Solved: Data Activator - Reflex-No email received - Microsoft Fabric Community, but is there still any way at which this would be dealt with as an issue by Microsoft and be corrected? Users expect that any email address the're able to lookup and add to the "Send to" bar also will be receiving the trigger notification without limitations:
Thanks for your helps,
Hi @morteza ,
The "Actions.InvalidRecipientDomain" notification typically suggests that there is a problem with the email domain of one or more of the recipients to whom the alert was supposed to be sent. This could mean that the domain is not recognized or not allowed within the configuration of Data Activator or your organization's email policies.
Will you receive an e-mail when you click "send me a test alert"? Please check the recipient's e-mail addresses to make sure they are correct and belong to an allowed domain.
Best Regards,
Neeko Tang

Hi Neeko @v-tangjie-msft ,
Thanks for looking into this and the details. The notification is being recieved in my inbox successfully plus one other recipient who is on the same domain as my email. However, our company has multiple domains and few other recipients' email addresses are on a certain domain and none of them recieved the trigger/Reflex notification. The email addresses are pulled automatically by microsoft when I type a name in the "Send To:" box, so there is no chance of invaild email addresses being entered. Your helps to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Morteza
