How Do I Evaluate The Result of a Conditional Column Equation in Power Query

Good day Team,

In Power Query, I have created a conditional column that checks if a column contains one of certain kewords.

If one of the conditions is met, it should return 1.

It is very simple, as it sounds, and it was working properly.

Not until I have come across one of the results that should NOT be filled with 1 since none of the conditions were met when I check them physically.

So, my question is how do I trace/evaluate what had happened so that I had such wierd result.

Is there any specific tool that will highlight what the conditional column had found to return 1 to that column?

I will really appreciate it if you can share with me your experience/ any hint to pin point the root cause.

Thanks

Hi @Ramh84 ,

Most of us on here are human M error-checkers.

If you post an example of the data that the conditional column is evaluating, with both correct/incorrect columns and outputs and also the calculation code from your column, we should be able to sort for you.
