Getting near real time dashboard with google analytics data

My organization require me to create visualizations/report/dashboard in Power BI with the google analytics data.

The visuals neeeds to refresh in regular interval (5 mins ideally)

Also there needs to be access control

All of the users are from core business and does not have access to google analytics , how we could govern the access of the visualisation ? Do I need to get user id , password for all users (which not a feasible option)

My organisation has provided me a service account with which I am currently connecting to google analytics data and developing the dashboard , but business does not have login credential to google analytics , then how I can control the access based on user's role in the organization

2nd question - what is the recommended option to store and process the google analytics data , we do have azure data lake ,data warehouse , should we store the data in there or the recommendation is to always use the Power BI connector?

@jimmymitra,

If you need to refresh the visuals every 5 mins in Power BI, you can create a real-time dashboard, for more details, please review this similar thread. Then you can share the dashboard  to your users, however, in this case, users will see all the data in the dashboard.

If you need to dispaly different data in visuals for different users, use Google analytics connector in Power BI Desktop to connect to your data source, then define Row Level Security. After you create report in Power BI Desktop, you can publish the report to Power BI Service and set schedule refresh for your dataset. You can purchase Power BI Premium license to have more frequent refresh schedule. With this license, you can refresh your dataset every 30 mins.

In addition, if you choose  the second method that described above, you don't need to store Google analytics in other source, just use Google analytics connector in Power BI Desktop.

Lydia
