** Human Action and Impacts on Climate and Nature **

Human activity on the planet, especially over the last 100 years, has grown at an accelerated and uncontrolled pace. Scientists and monitoring organizations warn of a challenging future.

This panel highlights alarming data: a 37.5% population increase in 63 years, global GDP soaring from $5 trillion to $106 trillion in 2023, rising industrial production, and an apparent setback in the pursuit of clean energy.

Meanwhile, the global average temperature has risen by more than 1.2°C in 100 years, greenhouse gas emissions have increased by 25.3%, and the loss of primary vegetation cover has reached nearly 4 million hectares.

While efforts are being made, we need more action, awareness, and political will to reverse this scenario.
