Snowflake boolean columns no longer working in new PBI version 2.130.754.0

Since the latest upgrade none of our boolean columns work in power BI. We're using direct query and snowflake. 

Has anyone else encountered this? is there a workaround or fix as it has impacted a large number of our reports.

We have seen on the internal platform that other engineers have reported this issue and submitted it.
The engineers on the product team are now aware and will do their best to resolve the issue. I will update here if there is any progress, so please be patient.

Is there any update on this? We are still having issues when trying to loading boolean value from snowflake into powerBI. The only way to make it working with custom queries is to convert all boolean into strings, that certainly is not sustainable nor good practice?

Hi @roberto_monesi, we have encountered the same problem and found out that this problem only occurs if you use the [Implementation = “2.0”] flag in the "Source" step in Power Query. After we removed this, it works for us. You can enable/disable this feature in the preview functions.
