Snowflake Connector in Power BI Desktop not showing Information Schema

I have a user that is trying to connect to SNOWFLAKE in Power BI Desktop through the built in connector. They are not able to see the INFORMATION SCHEMA but can see everything else.
They have connected to snowflake in Power BI Desktop through ODBC and it works fine. The built in snowflake connector does not show it for some reason.
We want users to use the connector so they can use it on the webservice without the need of a gateway. The only work around currently is they recreated a view of the schema and can see it, it is just an unnessecary and redundant step it feels like.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
