Leader Lines on Pie Chart not changing color

I have PBI Desktop Version: 2.131.1203.0 64-bit (July 2024) and when I change the color of my data label on a pie chart, the leader line color does not change

The color adjustment is for the content of the label, not the leader line, which means the color of the leader line is fixed. You can adjust the background color to show the leader line.

You can also vote the idea and comment there to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Thanks, I do get that, its odd though as I am expecting what I always have seen up until last week:

The color is a grey that can be seen in our dark mode. The background is the exact same color. Something has changed.

Definately the leader line matching the data label or full control as other visuals is a format option that seems obvious to have.
