DataMart Refresh Schedule Set Up Window Has Disappeared

Hello! We're in a bit of an odd situation - the ability to set refresh schedules for DataMarts seems to have completey disappeared from the UI in Service. Even if we click the DataMart > Refresh > Schedule refresh it takes us to the setting page, but with only the Datamart Description & Gateway Connection settings - nothing else.

The refresh schedules that we had set previously are still running - so the functionality still exists in the background - but it's not currently editable by the user it would seem, and we're unable to set up any new schedules for new DataMarts. I checked the documentation - but there has been no change to suggest the functionality has moved - does anyone know what is going on here?

I just noticed the same thing. Created a new datamart but not able to set up a scheduled refresh.

Hi @sarah127583 ,

Please ensure that you have the necessary permissions to set up a refresh schedule. You might need to have write permissions or be an admin.
Sometimes, browser-related issues can cause certain features to not display correctly. Try a different browser or clear your browser cache.

Best regards.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm an admin, and have tried a different browser & clearing my cache but I'm still not seeing the set up page for schedueled refreshes for my DataMarts.

See below

@Anonymous, could the version of power bi service be a reason for the issue? I work with multiple tenants and one of them has the ability to set scheduled refreshes on datamarts and the other one does not.

Main differences between tenants

- Tenant that can set scheduled refreshes: premium capacity, Service version: 13.0.23358.52

- Tenant that cannot set scheduled refreshes: premium per user or embedded capacity, Service version: 13.0.23312.64

It might be the service version as we're premium capacity, Service version:13.0.23312.64 and we're not able to set the refresh schedules for DataMarts.

Ok, this is kinda dumb, but after some unresolved searching and a bit of panicking, I finally found them and it appears that the rest of the datamart settings have not disappeared, but have been moved down the settings page. You will have to scroll down the page to access them.

@ckphua,

You're right! The UI is just a bit of a mess! After scrolling all the way down I got there - but when I started adding my schedule - after about 5/6 options it started writing over the next settings so I couldn't adjust it properly.

At least I have now managed to schedule some sort of refresh though - so thank you!!! Refresh Schedule.PNG

The UI is absolutley all over the place. Do you have an ETA to fix this issue?

We have the same issue of very BAD UI with datamart located in Fabric Workspaces in French.

Hi @sarah127583 ,

This seems to be an issue caused by a change in the UI, sorry for the inconvenience, due to not having enough access to investigate this issue further, I would suggest opening a Support Ticket. If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.
