Combo chart - area below line transparency not working

PBID Version: 2.131.1203.0 64-bit (July 2024)

I create a combo chart. I enable the shade area:

Regardless of whether I set the shade area transparency to 0% or 100%, I get the same shading below the line portion in the chart:

Hi @NarWind

I didn't find the shade area in your screenshot, what version of combo chart are you using? I found 2 related visual in the app source.

Also can you provide me with the field settings of your visual? Something like this.

If you can, you can also use a simple data restore of your problem and then provide your pbix file. This way we can validate based on the file you provide.

Hi Alisa,

Thanks for checking. The visual is the built in Line and Clustered Column Chart. I've attached a PBIX for your reference and you can check the field settings and you'll find "Shade Area" when you search under formatting settings.

Hi @NarWind

We have feedback from PG that the issue is expected to be resolved around October. At that time you can update the installer released in October to fix the issue. Thanks for your cooperation! Please be patient!
