Hello,
I'm trying to implement the Scan API Power BI with Synapse, so I'm using the copy data activity to retrieve my workspace list which I store in a JSON file in a blob storage but I'm not sure what to do next such as slicing this list into packets of 100 workspace.
Has anyone already implemented this API and could help me?
Hi @Charline_74,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately Fabric Community only supports fabric related issues, incase if you want to resolve your issue related to Azure Synapse - please raise a support issue here - Ask a question - Microsoft Q&A.
Hi @Charline_74 - Welcome to Fabric Community,
I am trying to understand what exactly you are trying to achieve using Power BI Scanner API.
Can you please help me in providing more details on your ask like,
1. What is the platform you are using to implement? Fabric or Azure
2. Is Power BI and Synapse are under same subscription or different?
3. What data you are expecting by using Scanner API?
I would be able to provide a solution, once you share the above details.
Thank you,
Chenna Gopi Krishna
Hi @Anonymous,
I'm trying to set up the Scanner API on Azure Synapse, as I'm trying to retrieve data about our workspace, dataflow, dataset, report, tables, metrics ...
So I'm trying to set up the steps described in this documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/service-admin-metadata-scanning) in a synapse pipeline but I can't do it.
