Fabric Notebook APIs using Service Principal

Hello,

I want to create a notebook in Fabric using the Fabric APIs and then also run it using the Fabric APIs with, both using the service principal method (Since it will be an automation in the ADO pipeline, so the User authentication isn't an option).
So my questions are:
1- Is the Service Principle Fabric APIs apporach supported? (Because I've tested it, and I keep getting 401 error with "The caller is not authenticated to access this resource"
2- Is there an announced estimated time of when will it be supported (if its not supported yet).
3- Is there a workaround that could be used to achieve it.

I have created an idea, requesting this feature.

The current functionality makes automation a lot harder than it has to be.. Service Principals are in my opinion the way to go for API automation via functions/notebooks/...

Currently Service Prinicipal is not supported for Fabric API - Microsoft Fabric REST APIs for automation and embedded analytics - Microsoft Fabric REST APIs | Microsoft Learn
