Hello,
I'm in the middle of preparing power shell scripts to automate publishing semantic models and reports (as a part of CI/CD).
In general, I'm using fabricps-pbip (https://github.com/microsoft/Analysis-Services/tree/master/pbidevmode/fabricps-pbip) which uses pretty directly Fabric API (Invoke-FabricAPIRequest -uri "workspaces/$workspaceId/items" -method Post -body ... )
)
Unfortunatelly I found out that there is a problem with Calculated Columns.
After publishing semantic model I'm getting info that:
So I'm refreshing model and everything is fine.
The problem is with semantic models fully in direct mode where refreshing does not 'exist' like for import mode (correct me if I'm wrong).
Even if I'm trying to refresh model (directly in PowerBI service), issue still persist.
So my question is if (I know that some part of Farbic API might be still in preview) mentioned api supports direct mode?
If yes then is there something that I missed?
If no - is there any workaround?
Sure.
