Copy Job (preview) in Data Factory error

Hi,

I'm trying to test the preview of Copy Job in Data Factory, but can't even create the artifact.

Every time I choose to create the Copy Job (preview) in a workspace with a Fabric Capacity (Trial) assigned, it prompts me to upgrade to a Trial Fabric Capacity, that I already have. After accepting, it opens the popup to name the Copy Job, but fails every time, giving me the error message: {"message":"Request failed with 404(Not Found): {\"error\":{\"code\":\"PowerBIFeatureDisabled\",\"pbi.error\":{\"code\":\"PowerBIFeatureDisabled\",\"parameters\":{},\"details\":[],\"exceptionCulprit\":1}}}, \nrequestid: b9d697f4-fe04-1677-890b-4d58d9dbb084"}

It reads like the preview of Copy Job is disabled for my tenant, but I think that's not the case because I can see the button to create it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

In my experience, when I tested this some days ago, the Copy job button was visible, but it didn't work. It gave the same error message as OP mention. In my experience, this was because the tenant setting for the copy job (preview) was disabled. However I could see the button even if the setting was not enabled.

After I enabled the copy job (preview) in the tenant settings, the button started working and I was able to create a copy job.

Yes, after testing this button is not visible if Copy Job (preview) is not enabled.

I also tested creating a Copy Job under Fabric Trial and it can be created successfully. Try clearing your browser cache or accessing it in private window mode. If this doesn't work, try a different browser or a different computer to narrow down the problem.

Hi,

Yes, that was it. In the documentation it says you will not see the button if it's not enabled, but that's not the case, as you said.

Working perfectly once enabled in the tenant admin.

Thanks,

It's a tenant setting which needs to be enabled.
