Build Power BI Report with Power Apps (with parametrized location)

Hi all

okay, this might sound a bit complicated.

We do have Power BI Dashboards in which we implemented Power Apps, to do commenting and some other tasks.

Now we would like to change the link to the apps in such a way that we can use parameters to develop on a DEV PowerApps environment. And - within our Power BI pipeline - the parameter in PROD should point to the PowerApps PROD environment.

Has anybody done this before?

Any ideas how to do that?

Many thanks for your input!

Christian

BTW: ChatGPT did not understand my question 😉

I don't think that is possible.  You probably mean Power BI Reports.

Your question goes in the direction of deployment pipelines. There you can modify data sources through parameters, but as far as I know you cannot change PowerApps associations.
