Subject: Power BI - Calculating Attrition Rate Issue

Hi everyone,

I'm working on Power BI with two tables:

  1. Employee Details (Table 1)

    • Columns: Employee Code, Date of Joining, Date of Leaving, Client Code
  2. Headcount by Client (Table 2)

    • Columns: Client Code, Client Business Type, Headcount, Date [ Date table is start of month date for each month of each year ]

I want to calculate the attrition rate, but a direct relationship creates a many-to-many issue based on "Client Code."

Any suggestions on how to efficiently calculate attrition rate considering employees who left (Table 1) in relation to headcount (Table 2) based on "Client Code"?

Appreciate any help or insights!

Thanks!
