I have a stacked cloumn chart with Event Name on the axis. I want to be able to sort the columns by a date but when I try to select the StartDate field from the Sort By Column I get the error below. The startdate I'm trying to sort on is in the same table as the Event Names column. Is there another way to perform this sort?
You need to have a sort column that is a 1:1 match with the column you are sorting. You probably have it set where you want to sort a column by date, but there are multiple dates per item. So the Event Name might have Jan 1, 2021 and Jan 2, 2021 associated with it. Won't work.
You need to come up with some logic that will be unique. A new column that is just year and month perhaps?
