Hello,
I have a column of “Yes” and “No” values and I am trying to write a measure to tell me what percentage of the column’s values are “Yes”. I’ve managed to do this by writing three measures, as per below….but I would really appreciate some help to write these three expressions in one single measure.
Please can someone help? Many Thanks
LINK Effectiveness Yes =
CALCULATE(
COUNTA('WO Raw Data'[Eff 90D?]), 'WO Raw Data'[Machine Brand] IN {"LINK"},
'WO Raw Data'[Eff 90D?] IN { "Yes" }
)
LINK Effectiveness No =
CALCULATE(
COUNTA('WO Raw Data'[Eff 90D?]), 'WO Raw Data'[Machine Brand] IN {"LINK"},
'WO Raw Data'[Eff 90D?] IN { "No" }
)
LINK Effectiveness % =
DIVIDE([LINK Effectiveness Yes],
([LINK Effectiveness Yes] + [LINK Effectiveness No]))

Use variables, and simplify a bit:
Effectiveness=
VAR _Rows =
CALCULATE(
COUNTROWS( 'WO Raw Data'),
KEEPFILTERS ('WO Raw Data'[Machine Brand] = "Link")
)
VAR _Effective =
CALCULATE(
COUNTROWS( 'WO Raw Data'),
KEEPFILTERS ('WO Raw Data'[Machine Brand] = "Link"),
KEEPFILTERS ('WO Raw Data'[Eff 90D?] = "Yes")
)
RETURN
DIVIDE( _Effective , _Rows )
Use variables, and simplify a bit:
Effectiveness=
VAR _Rows =
CALCULATE(
COUNTROWS( 'WO Raw Data'),
KEEPFILTERS ('WO Raw Data'[Machine Brand] = "Link")
)
VAR _Effective =
CALCULATE(
COUNTROWS( 'WO Raw Data'),
KEEPFILTERS ('WO Raw Data'[Machine Brand] = "Link"),
KEEPFILTERS ('WO Raw Data'[Eff 90D?] = "Yes")
)
RETURN
DIVIDE( _Effective , _Rows )
Absolutely perfect! Thanks so much 🙂
