I'm trying to pull in data using the "Add table using examples" functionality in the Web connector. After entering the first example, I receive the above error about CSS selector not found. Entry of additional information does not change the error and nothing is found. When researching it sounds like the site may be slower loading and the connector snapshot is being taken before it's loaded. I found a video/article about adding a parameter to wait for some duration or until a div. item loads. However, the video is 2 years old and the source function appears to be different now. I'm looking for assistance with solutions to resolve this issue.
It could be that or it could be that there actually isn't a CSS selector for the values you are typing in. There are a lot of crap websites out there and this functionality relies on there being an id= or class or something that can consistently identify the data.
The sites from which I was trying to pull data are:
https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html
https://coronavirus.1point3acres.com/en
Yeah, nope I don't see that working. Both of those sites look like they are pulling in dynamic reporting content. It's all embedded content and I highly doubt it is going to have anything useable in the way of CSS identifiers. Oh yeah, look at the source, it is mainly garbage. Can't post it here but it is just a wrapper around embedded content.
