Power bi Pop up / Rating form ?

Hello,
I'm trying to see if I can create a pop up window on Power BI app. In that pop up, I want to have 5 stars and a comment section where users can rate the power bi dashboard.
Is this something feasible to the Power BI app? if not is it possible to incorporate it in the power bi desktop file itself? any guidance/resources would be greatly appreciated

Hi @unicorns ,

Sorry, so far, to my knowledge, this may not be achieveable.

Guy in a Cube did a video on a very similar topic here: What if we could RATE a Power BI report page? - YouTube

You're not going to get a pop-up (unless the pop-up is part of the app), but you can embed it various ways.

Hey @unicorns ,

the simple answer to your question: No, this is not possible.

A more elaborated answer.

Power BI does not support any kind of writeback operation.

There are different approaches how to bring writback to a Power BI report/app, like integrating a Power Apps visual into your report, or the Power Automate visual.

I would go to for an icon that is not stealing much screen estate from the report, where you can add an external link  that points to website or M365 form where users can rate the report, report page, or the report page.

Hopefully this helps to tackle your challienge.

Regards,

Tom
