Power Bi Desktop Slicer not Update Binded Paramter

Hi,

I have a problem. Here is my environment.

Powerbi Query:  is calling an MSQL Function with a UID as Parameter

I also added another Table with the Name and the UID for the Slicer.

I created a Parameter that is bound to the UID of the second table and I used that parameter to call the SQL Function.

My problem is now that as soon I change the slicer it seems the SQL Function is not called with the new Parameter It still shows the results of the Original. I can change the Slicer to other Values but still, the Table that shows the SQL Function results remains the same.

I added another visual table to the page which shows me just the chosen UID from the slicer and as soon I click and mark that value the first table updates.

So it seems the slier is not triggering to call the function again.

third visual table :

I just wanted a Slicer which is more readable for the Enduser

Yes i am using Direct Query. Like i said updating is working but not from the slicer. It seems Powerbis is not accapting an Alia and i need to click direct on the UID instead of another Coulm which I use to make it more readable

@Huutsch79 , Are you using direct Query? Dynamic M parameter has some limitations for source and mode
