Power BI Desktop Visualization Export to Power Point

Hi PBI Community,

Power BI desktop cant export visualization to PowerPoint?

If there is no built-in function in BI desktop, how do you do this? Print Screen? but print screen produces a blurry image on PowerPoint.

Any solutions here??

Thanks.

Hi @allenpee85 ,

  1. In power bi desktop, it can only export report as a PDF file currently.(Files -> Export -> Export to PDF)
  2. If you want to export to PowerPoint, you can publish it to power bi service, open it and export to PowerPoint when you have permission in Admin Portal:export to ppt.png

For further information about export to PowerPoint, you can refer the following Microsoft documents that could help you:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-powerpoint

Hi @allenpee85 ,

the following workaround should work ...

Export your Power BI Desktop report as a PDF.

Open the PDF export in full screen mode (view).

Create a print screen from PDF export in full screen mode.
