Power BI - Automatics tooltips for line graphs

Hello,

I'd like to change the way data is displayed in the automatic tooltips for line graphs. It seems that Microsoft have applied a rule concerning the display of data in the automatic tooltips of curve graphs, but we don't have control over it.

I've created a curve chart (x: date y:price) where I have as many curves as countries. Depending on the number of curves I display and the period selected, the tooltip changes.

Can you explain the rule applied here? Is it possible to add options to change the way the tooltip is displayed?

Hi @Guillaume_AS24

Sorry for misunderstanding the question is that what is hapenning is one of two things or you just selected a single point on your chart seeing that value or for that specific date there is only one country with values.

When you have a large number of lines sometimes is difficult to select the rigth point of the chart in order to see all of the values on the tooltip.

Thanks for your answer, but it doesn't really answer my question.

Here, I'm trying to understand why the tooltips change between the left and right photos. Even though it's the same graph

Hi @Guillaume_AS24

The rule is the Order of the legend, in the case you present you have the legend in alphabetic order from A-Z if you go to the settings and change it to Z-A the sorting changes:

If you want to have a different order then you need to add a sort by column value so that you can change the sorting
