Month on Month

Hello,

I am trying to show users month on month differences for user in my main data table.

I used this dax code

Last Month main user = CALCULATE(SUM('main data'[Users]),PARALLELPERIOD('Calendar'[Month],-1, MONTH))
But it does not work.

Can someone take a look at the sample file and please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Also is it possible to show the current month and last month percentage change in card? What formula would I need to do that ?

Thanks

Hi @Greg_Deckler

Thank you for your feedback

Please see the PBI file which now has a relationship from calendar table to main data but the month on month

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G2nE_quaVIK0ti96KzK4465GFkKM7RI9/view?usp=share_link

change still does not work.

Is there a way to get the month on month to display on a line chart or bar chart or histogram to show the month on month change, also in percentage.

Can the month on month change also been shown in a card (% change)

Thank you in advance for your help

@Redfox_delta2 The biggest problem you have is that your main data table just has a single column with no relation to your Calendar table. So, not sure how you expect to know which users are for which months.
