Hi Power Users
I am working on a matrix where I have following data
Effective Date | End Date | Sales # | Closed Account # | Remaining # |
100 | 15 | 85 | ||
I am working on a matrix where I need Sales # as columns and closed Account # and Remaining # as rows
Also, Remaining 3 is calculated base on the total closed Account # not based on the month wise. The expected matrix will look like this
End Date | Jan | Jan | Feb | Feb | |||||
Eff Year | Eff Month | Sales | Closed Account # | Remaing # | Closed Account # | Remaining # | |||
2023 | Jan | 100 | 5 | 95 | 10 | 85 | |||
Feb | 150 | 10 | 140 | 20 | 120 | ||||
March | 50 | 5 | 45 | 10 | 35 | ||||
Here, I am trying to achieve 2 things:
1. Sales # shouldn't be split into months (keeping sales # as colums)
2. Remaining # is calculated based on total sales. Not based on the monthly sales.
Hoping to get some pointers.
Hi @khannap ,
Matrix visual objects in this format are not realizable in Desktop, especially where I've circled them in red:
Also, you can't do these calculations directly in the matrix, you have to do them beforehand in the data table using a measure or calculated column, and then put the measure or calculated column into the matrix.
If possible, please provide sample data.
Best Regards,
Dino Tao
