How to copy values

Hello,

Is there a way to copy values to the clipboard while preserving the table format or export them to Excel?

I am attaching an example image.

Hello @Lora_0121 ,

Could you please publish to Service and export data?

In PBI Desktop it exports like that.

Hello @Lora_0121

It's not possible from Power BI Desktop file. Please refere the below comment which was available in Microsoft Power BI documentation. URL - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-export-data?tabs=powerbi-d...

But you can export it as-is from Power BI services. Please follow below steps.

Step1: Let's say the following matrix data you want to export it from matrix chart.

Step2: Click on ... of matrix chart and click on export data

Step3: Then it will ask the prompt like below. Select Data Export with Current Layout and Click on Export.

Step 5:  Now if you see the below, preserved format of table data saved in csv files as-is.

I hope now you are clear.

Thank you!

The format is not preserved. Instead of the pivot format, it is exported in a column-wise layout.
