Hi,
I have a matrix and bar chart as shown below. The column of the matix is machines( u01,u02,u03,u04) this can extend or vary.
The bar chart below also shows u01,u02 ,u03,u04.... I want the width of each of the columns in the matrix to be the same as the width of each of the bar in the bar chart below and at the same time if the selection is more like we have machines are there from u01,u02,u03..u 10 then the width of the column in the matrix should adjust accordingly and the bar should also adjust the width in such a way that both the matrix and bar looks aligned. Also is there any way we can sort the bar chart by oee2%(this column is not
present in the bar chart but it is present in the matrix and the matrix is sorted by oee2 and i need to sort the bar chart also by oee2, is that possibe?)
Current scenario : Bar chart not sorted by oee2% and the width is not aligned of bar chart and the matrix
Current As is condition
Desired output should be like below where matrix and bar charts are sorted by oee2% column and are aligned properly.

Hi @Anonymous ,
As far as I know, the width of bar in bar chart is based on the data you want to display. It will not be fit with the width of other visuals. You need to change it manually. I suggest you create an idea in Power BI forum which has been submitted to improve Power BI and make the feature coming sooner. https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas.
You can sort the machine column by OEE2% via sort by column in data view before you use the machine column in bar chart:
For more details, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-sort-by-column#sort-using-the-sort-by-column-button
